The creative brain behind the iconic 1984 documentary This is the backbone – Rob Rainer, Harry Shearer, Michael McKian and Christopher Guest – 14 Oct Oct. Coming together for a virtual reunion. Hosted by Patton Oswalt, the event will raise funds for the Pennsylvania Democrats or PA Dams. The invitation reads, “Every dollar won goes straight to ending Trumpism by winning Pennsylvania.”
It’s been put together by similar supporters recently Princess Bride Along with Rainer and Oswalt, Carrie Elvis, Robin Wright, Carol Kane, Chris Sarandon, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shaw, No, Billy Crystal and Christopher Guest also answered their original characters while reading the virtual table. That event raised 25 4.25 million for the Wisconsin Democrats.
Now the focus is on Pennsylvania – known as Net Silver Five Thirty I. Jason Henry, executive director of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, says his organization is ready – as the “single most important state in the 2020 election” on September 15.
“Democratic enthusiasm in Pennsylvania is already at eleven – we are the key to Keystone State and winning this election. We are excited to partner with it.
