SpaceX could try 3 rocket launches on Sunday

SpaceX aims to launch three rockets on Sunday, including two back-to-back Falcon 9 launches in Florida and a Starship test flight in Texas, if weather permits.

The aerospace company said it plans to launch its twelfth Starlink mission from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 12:12 a.m., sending 60 Starlinks into orbit.

The second Falcon 9 launch is scheduled to take place nine hours and six minutes later, take off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 7:18 p.m., and send the SAOCOM 1B spacecraft into orbit.

Both Starlink and SAOCOM 1B will be launching live stream.

Different, SpaceX is also reportedly aiming to launch the Starship SN6 For a low-altitude test flight, from Boca Chika, Texas. Earlier this August, Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX Tweeted The company is thinking that “the launch will take many short periods of time to simplify the process, then move to higher altitudes from the body d fl .ps.”

Although it’s not clear how long the Texas launch will be – if it goes ahead – Cameron County, Texas has announced a highway closure between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. CST “due to expected test launch activities for SpaceX.”
