The Blazers are sending Houston the 16th pick in the NBA Draft on Wednesday and the second-round pick in the second round, sources said. The deal could not be finalized after Wednesday’s draft.
Cowington was part of a four-team, 12-player deal that brought Clint Capella to the Atlanta Hawks in February.
