Sources – Houston Rockets’ James Harden’s Philadelphia 76 traders, will be traded to other NBA contenders.

James Harden signaled to the Houston Rockets before training camp that he would be open to trade for the Philadelphia 76ers or perhaps other contenders, sources told ESPN.

Harden, a perennial MVP candidate who is dropping out of training camp, had previously asked the Brooklyn Net to trade with former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates Kevin Durant and Kiri Irving to form a supertem.

After it became clear that there was no connection to the conversation with the net, Harden told the Rockets that they would agree if the deal with 76 people materialized, sources said. Harden also hinted that other teams might fit into his criteria for the destination of choice, a source said.

Sources said there was no significant talk about a possible harden deal between the Rockets and the Sixers. The new Philadelphia president of basketball operations, Daryl Moore, general manager of the Rockets’ previous 13 seasons, has said he has no intention of breaking the six-star pair of sector six Joel Embid and guard / forward Ben Simmons.

Simmons, 24, is entering third-team All-NBA selection, the first season of five years, extending his contract to 16 9,169.5 million. Embid, 26, a two-time second-team All-NBA pick, has over 94.7 million left over three seasons on his deal.

Teams will be reluctant to give up the assets needed to acquire a player of Harden’s caliber without confidence, as he prepares to stay with the franchise when he can exit the post-2021-22 season. Some competing teams have the ability to provide Houston with a combination of assets that it intends to deal with Harden.

Sources said the Houston wave has not happened about the Rockets asking a fair price for Harden: a package that includes a bundle of young franchise Cornerstone and first-round picks and talented players on a rookie deal, sources said.

The Rockets have been adamant that no matter how uncomfortable the situation is with the three-time scoring champion failing to report to training camp while partying in Atlanta and Las Vegas, they will not be taken fast in the trading harden.
