That in case you need a new PlayStation 4 gamepad and did not intend to get a PlayStation 5 at launch – Sony has confirmed that these controllers will not work with the PS5 game – you can get at least one of the more stylish options available.
“The DualShock 4 family of wireless controllers has been growing steadily since its launch almost seven years ago. We have introduced a total of more than 25 colors worldwide, ranging from the classic Jet Black and Wave Blue to the eclectic Sunset Orange and Red Crystal, ”reads the blog post of Steve Schwartz, Sony’s senior manager for marketing of PS VR and peripherals. ‘Today we are pleased to announce that this August we are bringing back some of the newer stylish designs to participating retailers worldwide, including Berry Blue, Red Camouflage, Rose Gold, and Steel Black. Check with your local retailers for availability and price. ”
All updated colors, including “berry blue” and “red camouflage,” are already available on Sony’s US PlayStation website for full price, which is set at $ 64.99.
