Sony announced that the PS5 games territory will be free, and the console will support PS Now

The PlayStation 5 will launch on Thursday, November 12, and Sony has released a huge FAQ outlining many details about the new console. There are a few new things buried in the FAQ which means you’ll be able to play even more games than expected on the PS5.

According to the FAQ, the PS5 games territory will remain free, which means you will be able to play games from other countries without any problems. It can be a big deal, for example, there is a release in Japan that you want to play but the US. Not found in official release. That game will still work on your PS5.

The PS5 will also support Sony’s PlayStation Now cloud gaming service, which means you’ll be able to play older PlayStation games than you ever knew. PS now lets you download and stream some PS4 games, but that’s it Also Lets you stream some PS3 and PS2 games. I had a great experience using PS Now to play through the PS3 version of The Last Us You Earlier this year, so I’m glad I could use the service on my PS5 to dip my toe into some of the classic PS3 and PS2 games.

Sony has already said that most of the PS4’s more than 4,000 titles will work on the PS5, and preliminary tests show that many PS4 games play better on the new console. The company is also offering access to some of the biggest hits of the PS4 to PlayStation Plus customers through the PlayStation Plus collection on your PS5.
