A big stipend has been announced for one of the matches at WWE SummerSlam on Sunday.
As mentioned earlier, Mandy Rose appeared on SmackDown and offered to put everything behind her, because she believes the old Sonya is still there and she wants things back to the way they once were.
This turned out to be a change in direction for their storyline as they were scheduled to wrestle in a hair-to-hair match this Sunday.
The incident with Sonya’s stalker was addressed in a backstage segment when Dana Brooke wished her well after the bad week, but Deville punched her in the face for not respecting her.
A little later, Deville walked to the arena and said she wanted to increase the stakes for the game on Sunday with the loser leaving WWE. She also said she wished the match was No DQ.
It’s not clear what’s going on here, but it’s no secret that Sonya is handling the lawsuit against her stalker, so it may be that she’s taking time. There is always a chance that someone will actually leave the company.
