To the delight of comedy lovers, Seth Rogen appeared The Howard Stern Show for an honest – and very funny – conversation. During the interview, Rogen dropped some knowledge about show business, including an idea that some movies are just like scams.

Rogen became a household name thanks to his high-profile roles in comedies, including The 40-year-old girl en Knocked Up. But besides his impeccable comic timing as an actor, the funny man uses his incredible creative instincts behind the scenes.
Rogen has written, directed and produced blockbusters and television series on big screens. Plus, he has starred in many of the features he conceptualized. So, when Rogen talks about the film industry, he speaks from immense experience and success.

Rogen spoke honestly with Stern about what happens when a film concept doesn’t stop there. In fact, he opened up about a script that he has had noodles for almost a decade. He also talked about what happens when a half-baked idea comes up on the big screen, calling those projects “scams.”
Rogen explained, “Some movies are like scams, like, it’s like buying blueprints in a house that looked nice, but then when you actually tried to build the house, it did not come up well. You know what I mean. like? like, that’s a thing that happens with movies, and I recognize it sometimes where I’m going to see a movie and be like, ‘Oh, they sang. Whoever wrote and directed this movie, sang,’ grinned Rogen He went on to say, “They pretended to sell the studio an actual functional film, but they did not. They sold them, like the schemes of a film which, when they were built, did not holds stress tests. ”

During the interview, Stern asked if Rogen had ever tapped to improve a film. The writer opened up about one particularly high-profile film that he polished.
“I will say this only because it has been reported, and I will tread lightly because I am close to many of those involved,” Rogen said. ‘But I did that on the Dr. Doolittle film a little. ”
The restart of 2020 of Dolittle star Robert Downey Jr. in a stark departure from his role as the Marvel Cinematic Universe hero, Iron Man. In Dolittle, a doctor who can communicate with animals goes in search of a mythical island. Rogen commented on what it was like to rework the script.
“It’s a cushy position to be in. Laws are empty for you personally in that role, which is nice,” Rogen acknowledged. “But it’s also like, you want to help.” He went on to say, ‘I love movies, and I love the actors in that movie too, and I do not want anyone to be unhappy with a movie. And Universal, who made that film, like, has been very supportive of me and my career and has made many of our films. And I love the people who work there, so I really want to make things better than I can. “
