“Saturday Night Live” will soon return to season 46 – now the time for the craziest election season now – but things will be different.
Multiple production sources tell TMZ … The show’s “Live from New York” aspect will be true for the first time since March 7, but don’t expect a live audience. We’ve been told it’s not going to happen, at least not for a while.
Next, our sources say that ‘SNL.’ With warehouses in Brooklyn and Jersey, focusing on large spaces around NYC to shoot some pre-tapped sketches. We are told they are looking for a space that allows for proper social distance and security for the cast and crew that Studio 8H at Rockefeller Center cannot provide.
After all, our sources say that Zoom still has to be used for celebrity guests … there were 3 stars in the spring show Tom Hanks And Brad Pete.
The iconic sketch Come Come Medi Show has announced its highly anticipated return on October 3, telling us that the small production crew will be at Rock 30 next week.
It’s not clear how the cast will conduct the rehearsal in the studio – or who the cast is involved in – but it should be fun to find out.
