Smash Mouth performs for packed audience at Sturgis Motorcycle Rally despite ongoing coronavirus pandemic


Smash Mouth has now joined the list of high profile bands to perform for large crowds amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The group celebrated Sunday in Sturgis, South Dakota, as part of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

A local news agency reported that the concert was signed “hundreds, if not thousandsof fans, share some videos in which a few concertgoers can be seen wearing masks or following social distancing guidelines.

Reps for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment, while reps for the band declined to comment.

The rally, which began on 7 August. And runs through August 16th. Will include many more concerts and events, including performances by Night Ranger, Quiet Riot and many more.

The Rally expects up to 250,000 people from across the country to attend, making it the largest public event since the start of the pandemic.

SD has no mask mandate and no boundaries on insiders, and Gov. Kristi Noem loves tourist dollars.

According to Rolling Stone, the city of Sturgis will conduct mass COVID-19 tests for residents in the coming weeks and travelers will be redirected to prevent the virus from spreading to Native American reservations.
