I spoke to an OC veteran tonight. He meets with his QBs separately, a meeting with the first and third stringer and then with the second and fourth stringer. The fear is that if a QB tests positive, there will still be a QB and backup available.

They all did so without sacrificing high school recruiting, either, making it to the top 5 classes of those five years with the coming year just because they only had room for 17 players.
The transfer market can be a bit difficult to master, but I would say they have discovered it.

There’s still a legitimate chance that Ohio State will land at Leigh, and there’s a legitimate chance that he’s one of the * eight * five-star prospects he eventually signs with the Buckeyes in 2021, out of about 30 potential five-star prospects.
This is absurd.
THE FLIP OF AN HOUR. I very rarely share our own stories in the Skull Session because frankly I think it’s a little incestuous and they still know where to find our other stories (hint: click on “Once “Warriors” in the upper left corner).
That said, Zack’s story about Jantzen Dunn’s one-hour trip from Oklahoma to the state of Ohio is absolutely worth sharing, because it’s the first time anyone has spoken about the hell that happened on that wild April night.
“We had asked some schools about being engaged, but we had never spoken to the state of Ohio about it,” says Mitchell now. “She emphasized that J was a take from day one. It was just a lack of communication there.
“It was just not clear to us that the Ohio State was compromised because he was leaving Kentucky. And that’s difficult, leaving Kentucky we don’t get respect. … It was then that Coach Barnes made it very clear that he could commit to the state of Ohio. ”
Everything changed in that fraction of a second. The Dunns hung up on Barnes and told him they would call him back.
Jantzen and Mitchell sat down, their heads turned a bit, and now they were entering a decision mode that can only be described as frantic but still complete. After all, Jantzen had long ago decided that Columbus was the place for him.
“In the recruiting process, the state of Ohio was where I wanted to go, and if I wasn’t going to take it there, I was going to weigh my options,” says Jantzen. “That’s where my top seven spots came in.”
There are so many behind-the-scenes antics going on in recruiting that I’m eternally grateful for heroes like Zack for guiding me through him with a certain appearance of clarity. It’s like taking me through a gigantic black cave and he’s the only one with the flashlight.
