Non-Conference Game for Big 12 teams is scheduled to start on September 12 and September 19 by Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman. Each Big 12 team is expected to play one non-conference game and nine conference games by 2020.
The Big 12 chose Tuesday night to move on to a 2020 season. The Big Ten and Pac-12 have both chosen to cancel fall sports in 2020, while the SEC and ACC still plan to run their fall seasons.
The 2020 Big 12 Championship is currently slated to be played on Dec. 12. The conference can report its season starting as late as October 10 and still hold a title contest on December 19th.
It is unclear whether fans will attend Big 12 matches in 2020, although a full conference schedule is intended to be played. Texas and Oklahoma are currently planning to hold their annual prize contest in a neutral spot on October 10, as the two programs take place in Dallas.
Oklahoma has won the Big 12 for five straight seasons. 2014 marks the last time that the Sooners at least did not earn a share of the conference championship.
