Six players placed on the new reserve / list COVID-19

Six players were placed on the reserve / COVID-19 list on Sunday, according to the league’s transaction cable.

These are the first players to reach this new roster, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, either after testing positive or quarantined in close contact with an infected person.

The Cleveland Browns included two players: running back / return specialist Dontrell Hilliard and defensive rookie Jovante Moffatt, who signed as an undrafted free agent in May.

Hilliard, 25, has been with the franchise since signing as UDFA at Tulane in 2018. He played 14 games in 2019 and recorded 13 carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 12 catches for 92 yards. He also returned 15 punts for 107 yards and 17 kickoff returns for 421 yards.

UDFA 2020 signings DB Nigel Warrior of the Ravens, Bengals defensive end Kendall Futrell and Chiefs catcher Aleva Hifo were also listed, along with Cowboys catcher Jon’Vea Johnson, a signature by UDFA last year.
