The sister of Fahim Saleh, the tech CEO who was assassinated and dismantled in his Manhattan apartment in July, paid an emotional tribute to her brother on Thursday. In a post on the one-year anniversary of her 33-year-old brother ‘grim murder’, Ruby Angela Saleh said she learned about her aunt’s death when she had to fly the country and identify his murdered body in a photo due to the coronavirus pandemic. “I started stroking his face on the computer screen with my index finger when tears ran down my cheeks,” she wrote. ‘I just wanted to tell him,’ I’m sorry, Fahim, I’m sorry, Fahim. My poor, sweet brother. My heart.'”
Saleh’s former executive assistant, Tyrese Haspil, has been accused of stabbing and ousting Saleh after he allegedly trusted more than $ 90,000 of his boss. Saleh offered not to call police as Haspil, 21, repaid him in installments – but Haspil instead murdered his boss in his Lower East Side apartment. The older sister returned to pleading at a Hudson Valley funeral, saying it “would not be possible to sew his limbs and sew back to his torso for burial.” However, “the day before the funeral, the man called me again,” she wrote. ” It was not easy, but we were able to bring him back together. ”
