Veteran actress Simi Garewal broke her silence about her experience with nepotism. The television presenter revealed that “a powerful person brutally tried to destroy her career.”

Garewal also applauded Kangana for her bravery in calling ‘Bollywood Biggies’. The former television presenter added that she feels “depressed” after hearing Kangana’s comments about the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Since Sushant’s death, Kangana has been talking about nepotism in Bollywood.

Revealing that she has also faced the cruelties of B-town, Simi tweeted on Saturday night: “I applaud #KanganaRanaut, who is braver and bolder than I am. Only I know how a ‘powerful’ person has cruelly tried to destroy my career. I was silent. Because I’m not so brave … “

“I don’t know what they felt after watching #KanganaSpeaksToArnab … but it has left me quite depressed … I am distressed by what #SushantSingRajput endured … and also by what many ‘outsiders’ are going through in Bollywood … must When George Floyd was assassinated in the United States, he caused an awakening. Similarly, the death of # SushantSingRajput may be the harbinger of an awakening in Bollywood … “he added.

Kangana Ranaut spoke to Republic TV news channel on Saturday night about Sushant’s death.

The actor also alleged that she was abandoned by 18 brands and called Bollywood people “emotional vultures.”

In his interview with Republic TV, Kangana had said that he would return his Padma Shri if his claims about Sushant’s death were shown to be incorrect.

“They (the Mumbai police) summoned me, and I also asked them, that I am in Manali, that they can send someone to take my statement, but I have received nothing after that. I tell them that if I have said something that I cannot testify, that I cannot prove and that it is not in the public domain, I will return my Padma Shri, ”Kangana said.

“I do not deserve it. I am not that person who will register (to make such statements), and everything I have said is in the public domain, ”he added.

Sushant died of suicide on June 14 at age 34. She was reportedly suffering from depression. His death has sparked a debate about nepotism and favoritism in Bollywood with many targeting powerful filmmakers and star children on social media.
