Sia has claimed that she once had to arrest child star Maddie Ziegler aboard a plane with Harvey Weinstein.
Dancing moms The 17-year-old star Ziegler appeared in Sia’s award-winning music video “Chandelier” when she was 11 years old.
Sia said The Zach Sang Show she “always felt this extreme desire to protect” Ziegler.

She said: “You know I kept her out of a plane that Harvey Weinstein tried to board her on. I know there are times when my vision has really made a difference, like keeping it safe. Yes, that was really gross. “
Sia said she advised Ziegler’s mother, Melissa, not to let her son aboard the plane, and said, “Please don’t do that, don’t do that, don’t do that.”
It is unclear when this incident occurred. Weinstein, 68, is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence for sexual assault and third-degree rape.
Ziegler rose to fame on the Lifetime show Dancing moms, where Sia discovered her. The next one will be seen at Steven Spielberg’s West side story Redo.
Sia recently became a grandmother for the first time. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music earlier this week, she revealed that one of her two adult children, whom she adopted in 2019, had become a father.
