Shia LaBeouf has been constantly covering her torso with increasingly elaborate tattoos for some time now, and it’s been revealed that she did it for a role.
The 34-year-old “Honey Boy” star is at the center of David Ayers’ “The Tax Collector”, and Ayers claimed that the latest LaBeouf ink was purchased during production of the film.
Speaking to Slashfilm, Ayers was quick to exaggerate his star’s commitment to his roles. “He is the most committed to the body and soul. They pulled out a tooth [Ayers’ 2014 WWII drama] ‘Fury’ and then in ‘Tax collector’, he tattooed his entire chest. ”
LaBeouf’s ab-rocker “creeper” and the portrait of the clown hugging Madonna have been aired long before Ayers revealed they were part of “Tax Collector”. The actor’s public workout routine made sure that people speculated about the new ink as early as April 2019. (A media outlet speculated earlier this year that the woman portrayed is her mother.)
“The Tax Collector” will be out on August 7.
