Sen. John Kennedy claims ‘redistribution and race support’ Democratic Party pushed to the left by Sanders, AOC

First Chamber Member of Parliament John Kennedy, R-La., Told “Hannity” Tuesday that the Democratic Party is unrecognizable from the party’s even recent history.

“Here’s what I learned from last night,” Kennedy host Sean Hannity said, thinking about the opening night of the Democratic National Convention. Vice President Biden may be the party’s nominee, but Bernie Sanders is the party’s leader, that’s clear.

“And really, what Senator Sanders has done is pretty breathtaking,” Kennedy added. “He and Congresswoman [Alexandria] Ocasio-Cortez increased the visitors’ lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right [so] I barely recognize it. “

Kennedy himself left the Democratic Party in 2007 to become a Republican, once remarking to Roll Call that Democrats long ago “abandoned” the concept of government.[ing] people and not run[ing] their lives. “

“Her message to America now is, ‘Finish school, get a job, and work hard so we can take the money you earn and give it to someone who does not,'” he told Hannity. “Redistribution and race support all their policies and I do not recognize this Democratic Party.”

Kennedy also expressed surprise that the DNC gave a talking lock to former President Bill Clinton despite his history of allegations of sexual abuse and his dismissal, which stemmed from his affair with Monica Lewinsky intern at the White House.

“I do not mean to disrespect him, he was President of the United States, but I was very surprised that they kept President Clinton on the schedule,” the senator said. “I do not know what this means. Does this mean we’m not doing #MeToo anymore or that it’s just stopped for the night? I hope not. I do not mean disrespectful, but President Clinton has – how will I put it? He is very selective in the reality he accepts. “
