FromSoftware will release an update for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Three new features will be added this fall: a boss rush mode that will allow players to relive the game’s most challenging battles; new costumes for the protagonist of the game; and a way to send messages online to help other players, similar in style to Dark souls and Bloodborne.
SekiroThe new boss rush mode will allow players to fight enemies at the boss level individually or consecutively in Force Reflection and Force Gauntlet modes, respectively. “Extraordinary enemies who once stood in the way of victory can be fought over and over again at will,” FromSoftware said in an announcement about the Sekiro website.
Players can also change the wolf’s appearance, with three new ways. Two are confirmed: “Old Ashina Shinobi” and “Tengu”. Two of these new outfits can be unlocked through Gauntlet modes, while the third one is unlocked upon game expiration, Activision said on its blog.
Finally, SekiroThe update will add a new feature called Remaining Recordings. These game recordings, up to 30 seconds long, will send a phantom version of the Wolf to other players’ games and can be combined with a message. “Share strategies and suggestions across the network to expand the reach of the game,” FromSoftware said. Players can rate another player’s Remnant, which will give the creator HP recovery.
Sekiro: Shadows Die TwiceThe free update will launch on October 29 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. The timing of the update is intriguing and hopefully additional support for next-gen consoles expected to ship at the same time. . The update also coincides with the launch of the game on Google Stadia.
