Segway announced on Wednesday that it will discontinue its famous Segway PT scooter model.

The self-balancing Segway PT, which has two wheels and a central handlebar, has been popularized by tourists and the police.

“In recent years, we have seen an overcrowding of the Segway PT market. They are an extremely durable vehicle, with many 10 or more years still on the way,” the company said in a press release.
