Season 16 of ‘Bachelorette’ gets premiere date, poster revealed


“The Freeman” will return to television this fall on Tuesday, October 13th.

Season 16, starring Clare Crawley, will begin with a two-hour episode, according to ABC.

However, rumor has it that Tayshia Adams, 29, is reportedly taking over Bachelorette after Crawley, 39, fell for one of her contestants early in the season.

The change was said to have only happened in filming for two weeks, and that Crawley did not even want to continue after giving her first impression to competitor Dale Moss, according to previous reports.

Along with the announcement of the premiere on Thursday came a poster for the season featuring Crawley.

In the shot, Crawley holds a rose and leans against a wall as a man hits a sock over his foot and lower leg.

“It’s time,” the poster reads.

“Bachelor Nation, the wait is finally over! Clare Crawley will finally embark on her journey to find true love when ‘The Bachelorette’ returns for her said 16th season on a new night,” reads the release.

It goes on to say: “Clare had women all over America cheering from their living rooms when she rose to fame against controversial Bachelor Juan Pablo during the memorable finale of the 18th season of ‘The Bachelor.’ Clare left the season with a new sense of self-worth. and a decision to never settle for anything less than the unconditional love and respect they deserve. “

The announcement concluded: “Follow her passionate, wild ride to find her soul mate and the explosive twist of events that will haunt all of the Bachelor Nation.”

There was no mention of casting shake-ups and ABC did not address the rumors when Fox News reached out.

Crawley was announced in March as the latest “Bachelorette” and filming was halted early due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

In July, it was announced that 15 of the 32 male participants from the show had been cut off and were replaced by an additional 25.
