After a longer period than normal offseason, ans of the Seattle Seahawks were excited to finally see something on football, with the team taking to the field at Century Link for a spot game. The team did not sit too deep in the untelevised, unreported on game, when things stopped a terrible.

That, of course, is a narrow development, and is a very sudden reminder that although football offers a great distraction from the pandemic, it carries its own significant risks.
However, the most recent update on Branden Jackson and his injury has been positive, and hopefully further good news will come regarding his health in the coming days and weeks.

There is no denying that football can be a brutal sport, and while there were certainly concerns about injuries after a unique offseason, this was not the kind of concern that was for and central to most. However, the reports that Jackson’s extremities moved is certainly a positive development, and Field Gulls will be sure to bring you further developments as they come through the rest of camp.
