Sarah Sanders: DNC speakers do not want to talk about Joe Biden, they just want to attack Trump

Democrats do not have much to say about Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden because there “are not many good things to say,” according to Fox News staffer Sarah Sanders.

“The Democrats have made it a point to do nothing but attack the president. They’re so out of step with most Americans, “Sanders told Fox & Friends.

Sanders said Democrats want “greater government, higher taxes, liberal judges and a total takeover of Americans’ lives.”

DNC DAY THREE LIVE UPDATES

‘They’ve moved so far to the left. They may be talking to American people, but I do not think their message resonates because they are not talking about what they would do in the next four years. “

Sanders responded to an image showing how little time the speakers had on Wednesday to break up conversations about Biden, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who spent just 31 seconds of her six-and-a-half minutes on the nominee. party.

“There are not enough good things to say,” Sanders said, adding that the convention is about attacking the president.

Former DNC interim chairman Donna Brazile fired back, calling the argument “hogwash” and showing how the Obama-Biden administration pulled the country out of the recession. She said the election was a ‘referendum’ on Trump and whether Americans were happy with his leadership.

A day before Biden was set to officially accept the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, his running mate, sen. Kamala Harris of California, and other heavy hitters of the party repeatedly posted a message about race and identity on the penultimate night of the convention.

By making history as the first Black woman on a major party national ticket, Harris sought to show that she is more than the designated attacker of Biden’s campaign.

During her speech, Harris showed flashes of toughness she showed as a former prosecutor and aggressive questioner on Capitol Hill. But her angle Wednesday seemed to be more focused on broadly complementary arguments that made Biden good before Harris went with the ticket.

She blamed President Trump for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, but noted that the virus has only exacerbated deep-rooted problems in America.

‘While this virus affects us all, let’s be honest, it’s not an equal chancellor. “Blacks, Latinos and indigenous people suffer and die disproportionately,” she said. ‘This is not a coincidence. It is the effect of structural racism. ”

Sanders said Democrats are not “honest” about talking to Americans about the issues.

‘If so, they would say you want to take over your life, they want to carry it all out. That is not what democracy is about. Democracy is about giving Americans the freedom to live in the largest nation on the planet. ‘
