What does it do to a monster? That is what Ryan Murphy and Sarah Paulson are looking to discover with the next Netflix series Ratched. Murphy’s prequel one flew over the cuckoo’s nest Paulson is a younger nurse, Ratched, who narrates how she became one of the most notorious villains in film. The series has been in development for a long time, with the Emmy-winning showrunner who spent a year securing the character’s rights before the project finally launched in 2017. Ratched It resembles many other dramas from Ryan Murphy’s era: bright, brightly colored, and full of glamorous stars, including Sharon stone like a fabulous eccentric heiress named Lenore Osgood. In keeping with Nurse Ratched’s character, Paulson seems quite buttoned by comparison, but his portrayal seems much more demure than Louise Fletcherit’s cruel and calculating representation in one flew over the cuckoo’s nest, for which he won an Academy Award. Because when people think of Ratched, they think of her as a dull, cruel and indifferent person ”.

While Paulson hated Ratched “very, very deeply” when he first saw one flew over the cuckoo’s nestThe actress said that playing the role of the younger nurse made her sympathetic to the character, adding that “she identified deeply with her loneliness.” Paulson added:

“Many of us are on the planet trying to discover how to survive our childhood, our environment, our circumstances. And have the opportunity to delve into this invented character who has become so throbbing with life for so many people, to discover why he is so cold … so far away … By the time you reach the end of the first season, you will not You will ask how and why Mildred became the way she did.
