August 8, 2020 should be the day Sarah Hyland en Wells Adams declared her eternal love for friends and family on her wedding day. But then this pesky thing called a global pandemic happened.
However, this does not prevent the couple from celebrating, as the “Modern family” alum out of themselves in white to cover for an impromptu photoshoot.

“We had to get married today. Instead … we took photos and drank wine,” Hyland captured her Instagram post celebrating the day.

She called the experience, “A couple, a pandemic, and a postponed wedding: A series.”
Hyland was a vision of relaxed beauty in white with an off-the-shoulder lace top and white pants. She even worked a veil in the shot with her oversized hat. Wells complimented her appearance with a white shirt and pants with tan dress.
But the best thing about the photos was their absolute fun. Despite the obvious sadness of delaying the special day they were able to spend together, how wonderful that they chose to celebrate it instead.
And while this day may not ultimately mark her wedding anniversary, it can still be remembered as the day she did not let COVID-19 dampen her spirits, and instead chose to celebrate her love in a way that is still available to her.

Especially since they do not even have a replacement date yet. “We have no plans at this time. We have put all plans on hold,” she said Chris Harrison in June on “The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever!” Adams is in “Bachelorette” en “Bachelor in Paradise” alun.
Several couples have gotten creative with Zoom weddings, as well as socially celebrated events, but Hyland and Adams are clearly determined to have the traditional ceremony surrounded by friends and family … and all those loves and hugs that come with them.
“All my family is mostly on the East Coast, so for them to fly out,” Hyland said. “And just age and of course with my health risks, we want to be as safe as possible.”

Hyland was initially diagnosed with kidney dysplasia when she was very young. She received a kidney from her father in April 2012 and then another from her brother in September 2017 when that one failed.
It was that same year that she and Adams began seeing each other. They moved together in August 2018 and formally announced their involvement in July 2019. With health and safety their top priority, it simply means a longer involvement than first planned.
When Hyland finally comes running down the path, it will be guarded. In the meantime, it seems certain that the couple knew how to keep their spirits up, and their fans with their smiles.
