Actor Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Saturday night after complaining of shortness of breath. After the actor was in the hospital, a COVID-19 test was done which turned out to be negative. The actor shared an update on his health in a tweet and wrote: “I just wanted to assure everyone that it’s doing me good. I’m currently under medical observation and my COVID-19 report is negative. With help and care from ‘ the doctors, nurses and staff at Lilavati Hospital I should be home for a day or two. Thank you for your well-being and blessings. “The actor currently lives alone in Mumbai while his wife Maanayata is in Dubai with her children Shahraan and Iqra.

Sanjay Dutt’s sister Priya Dutt also told news agency PTI that the actor will remain in the hospital until “he gets all his tests done.” She said: “He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital at 4.30pm to 5pm for regular check-ups because he was feeling a bit out of breath. They did a COVID-19 test and the result was negative. We kept him in the hospital “He’s got all his tests done. He’s gone to a full checkup. I think he’s coming home on Monday,” PTI reported.
A hospital official also shared that Sanjay Dutt is being treated for “mild breath.” “His antigen test for COVID-19 is negative. He is absolutely fine and is being treated for light breath,” the official told PTI.
Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Panipat, in which he starred together with Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The actor will be next seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, along with Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is a sequel to the 1991s Sadak, who starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt and was directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
Sadak 2 will premiere on August 28 at Disney + Hotstar, where a number of films like The Big Bull en Bhuj: The Pride of India will also release.
