The San Francisco 49ers are finalizing a one-year deal with free-agent Ziggy Ansah with a defensive end, then Nick Bosa suffered a potential ACL injury, a source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The deal will be finalized this week after Ansah passes the Kovid-19 protocol, sources said.
49 team coach Kyle Shannon said after his team’s 31-13 win over the New York Jets that Bosa had torn his left knee with an ACL in the first quarter.
The Seattle Seahawks pledged him off 1 million off, including the amount reflected in his Pro Bowl genealogy, but after signing in a one-year deal last se fission that included uncertainty with his health following injuries to his shoulder, he did not come out of despair. Ansah, 31, missed out on the 2019 seizure program after recovering from shoulder surgery and a later groin injury. Last season, he added 3 2.53 million to each game’s roster bonus, with 91.50..5 sacks in 91 regular-season games since the Lions drafted him fifth from the BYU in 2011Y. The Ghanaian made his Lone Pro Bowl a career-best 14.5 sacks since 2015 and played on the franchise tag in 2018.
