While Samsung has yet to officially announce the upcoming Galaxy S21 family of its flagship smartphones, there have been plenty of leaks and rumors on the upcoming flagships, and today we’ve seen what the official teaser of the smartphone looks like.
Giving us the best look on the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra to date, Android Police has got three official facial looking teaser videos.
Although the leaked teasers don’t look perfect in any phone, they do give a very clear look at the rear camera array of each handset and a glimpse of their display, confirming the design seen in the previously leaked render and real-word photos.
The shorter Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus teasers feature two seemingly identical handsets (which will eventually be almost different in size and battery capacity when released), as well as a gorgeous new two-tone color option called the Phantom Violet.
Both handsets have a rear triple camera array with a flat display, a centered pinhole selfie camera and an almost flat bezel.
That two-tone color is the biggest news of this leak, and it’s a bold design choice from the company but it looks premium in the short Galaxy S21 Plus teaser you can see below.
There is a separate teaser for the Galaxy S20 provided by Android Police, but we decided not to include it here because the design looks exactly like what you saw.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s design differs somewhat from the Galaxy S21 Ultra. If this teaser is an official facial, it suggests that it will boast a centered pinhole selfie camera curved display, with a quad camera setup at the back.
This teaser doesn’t give us a clear idea of the specs to expect, but other reports suggest it will include a 108MP primary sensor, a 10MP periscope telephoto lens, an additional 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
Another considered inclusion is the laser-of-focus sensor, which is said to replace the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s TFF (flight time) sensor. From what we can say in this short clip, all those elements seem to be in the back of the phone in this footage.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is not shown in the teaser enough to confirm a rumor, suggesting that the upcoming handset may get an S Pen, meaning we’ll have to wait until Samsung’s expected unveiling on January 14, 2020.
We’ve seen more handsets in previous leaks from other sources, so now we’ve started to put together a clear picture of what you should expect from the Samsung S21 series.
You can watch the leaked videos, all of them cut together in a video clip with the following tweet from Ice Universe, showing all the handsets in a quick two minute view.
