Samsung’s leaked Galaxy Chromebook 2 is more orange than ever

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Chromebook 2 has come out in a new leak, featuring a return to the company’s unique bright orange color in an otherwise similar-looking design by Evan Blass.

The new model has some visible changes, including small adjustments to the port layout and an extension of Samsung’s orange application. Although the orange hue extends to the sides of the laptop, the keyboard on the second pay-as-you-go model has been made more neutral black.

But there will be more significant changes to the internal specs, which will probably see some kind of improvement from last year’s model from Dell – especially considering that there are new 11th Gen Intel laptop chips out there. The combination of improved battery life and graphics performance from those chips with the already good-looking Samsung Galaxy Chromebook seems like an interesting prospect.

The original Galaxy Chromebook was a premium device, with a design – and price tag – to match. But in his review, EdgeThe Monica Chen was disappointed with the poor battery life and cooling areas – Samsung hopes this new leaked model will improve. CES 2021 is just around the corner, so the odds are that in the next few weeks we will have an official announcement from Samsung.
