Samsung’s unpacked virtual event is slated for August 5, and we look forward to seeing the announced Galaxy Note 20, along with a few other devices. If sold on the Note 20 after seeing rumors, the extremely brief official teaser above, and seeing the phone’s design widely leak on Samsung’s Russian site, you can make a reservation for “the next Galaxy” on Samsung’s site. Doing this won’t cost you anything – it will only put you online for preorders once they open, which will likely happen at the end of your Unpacked event.
I recommend booking one, even if you are still deciding whether to proceed with a pre-order. If you pre-order by August 4, pre-order once it’s available to do so, you’ll get a $ 50 coupon valid for use on select “wearables, tablets, PCs, and accessories” available from the Samsung online store ( That coupon expires on Black Friday, so you could rack up some good deals if you keep it until then.) It won’t make buying the Note 20 cheaper, but it’s a good incentive since it won’t cost you anything extra. Booking requires your name, email address, zip code and selecting whether you want an unlocked device or one linked to your preferred carrier.
Samsung generally has big preorder incentives to stack on this. For last year’s Note 10, Samsung offered at least $ 100 in gift cards and up to $ 600 in credit if you redeem your old phone.
