Ahead of the full launch of xCloud next month, Samsung has announced a clean promotion for the upcoming Note 20 smartphone and Galaxy Tab S7 tablet. Pre-orders for both devices come with a maximum of $ 150 in Samsung credit if deliveries last. You can then apply that credit to a new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Bundle, and open the door to streaming Xbox games on new Samsung devices starting September 15th.
The deal was announced during Samsung’s latest unpacked event and reported by our sister site CNET. The Note 20 is now available to order now from Best Buy and Samsung. The Galaxy Tab S7 releases later this year. Note 20 pre-orders come with $ 100 in Samsung credit, while Note 20 Ultra pre-orders come with $ 150. You can then place that credit for the Game Pass bundle (valued at $ 115), which runs three months of Game Pass Ultimate and an Xbox controller included. It is important to note that the bundle is only available to new Game Pass subscribers.
The Note 20 retails for $ 1000, while a more powerful Note 20 Ultra 5G costs $ 1,300. If you pre-order at Best Buy, you can save up to $ 700 on your purchase, depending on which device you trade. The price of Galaxy Tab S7 starts at $ 649, and a flagship S7 + will be available starting at $ 849. For more information on pre-orders of Galaxy Note 20, check out CNET’s pre-order guide.
Microsoft recently announced that its Game Pass Ultimate subscription, which typically costs $ 15 / month, will begin integrating xCloud streaming at launch on September 15th. While Microsoft does not have the full list of games available to stream at launch, it will be over 100 and includes Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, and many more popular Xbox One titles. Microsoft has also recently unveiled new xCloud accessories, including multiple controllers.
