Samsung today announced a host of new devices at its Life Unstoppable Virtual event, including the Galaxy A42 5G, which the company said will be its most affordable 5G device during its presentation. Simultaneously, Samsung has also unveiled a new wireless charger that can charge multiple devices simultaneously, as well as a new Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab B7.
The Galaxy A42 5G is the latest in Samsung’s Midrange A-Series lineup. Samsung says it has a quad-camera My Array on the back, a 6.6-inch OLED display, and will be available in black. It will launch later this year C.N.E.T..
Meanwhile the wireless charger trio is a charger that can supply wireless power to three devices simultaneously. It is the successor to the wireless charger Duo, as its name suggests, can charge two devices simultaneously. Samsung’s press release does not mention which charging speeds the three will support, which is a major drawback of at least one recent wireless charger that supports multiple devices. Semmobile Reports that it will retail at € 99 when it launches.
The last is the Galaxy Tab B7, a 10.4-inch tablet for media use with four Dolby Atoms compatible speakers. Prices for the new tablet are not mentioned in Samsung’s release, but it is expected to be cheaper than the Tab Tab S7 tablets announced last month at its Note 20 Unpacked event.
