It could be a month or more before Samsung announces its next watch, a watch that we believe will be called the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. While we wait for it to become official, we continue to learn more every day. Today, that continues with a couple of renders that surely look official.
Below, you can see both the front and back of the new Galaxy Watch 3 in leaked renders, courtesy of @evleaksThis is the largest 45mm version. The model number of the SM-R840 is shown on the back to confirm that, a number we discussed extensively a few weeks ago after seeing the watch at the FCC.
You can see the heart rate monitor, two push buttons on the right side of the case, the bezel with a rotatable grip, and a decent amount of space inside the lugs of the watch. The band that Samsung will likely include appears to be leather with a touch of contrasting stitching and a width of 22mm. This is by far Samsung’s most classic style watch in a couple of years, probably since the Gear S3 Classic.
We haven’t seen renderings of the smaller 41mm version yet, but I’m sure it will drop here soon with a similar design.
Looking good, Samsung.
