The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra will be unveiled in early January, and will go on sale later this month. Early renders of upcoming smartphones have already been leaked with their battery capacity. Now, new information regarding the camera of Galaxy S21 Ultra has come up.
According to NiUniverseIce, The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be a little better than the Galaxy S20 Ultra in terms of primary camera. The next flagship smartphone will use the ISOCL HM3 camera sensor with 108MP resolution and 0.8μm pixels. The new sensor is claimed to provide 12% better light sensitivity, allowing the phone to receive a few more details. It will also help the Galaxy S21 Ultra capture images quickly in low-light conditions.
More importantly, Samsung will reportedly release a 3D TF sensor used in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The company will replace the 3D TUF sensor with laser autofocus on the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which will help in more reliable autofocus in low-light conditions and near subjects. Samsung had already made its move to turn the laser aut tofocus with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
It is not yet clear whether the Galaxy S21 will feature an Ultra Quad camera or a Penta camera setup. The phone is expected to feature a flat Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rate, QHD + resolution and HDR10 +. The Galaxy S21 Ultra can debut with Android 11-based One UI 3.1, Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 875 processor and 5,000 mAh battery.
