Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson hilariously address ‘Black Adam’ casting Rumors

Ryan Reynolds has not even taken Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, fans are already waiting for him to add the DC Extended Universe to his schedule. The internet is convinced that Ryan Reynolds will join the DCEU

Since playing Green Lantern nearly a decade ago, Reynolds has regularly mocked the role. Despite decades of comic books, fans and critics alike embraced the script and the visual effects of the film adaptation. Yet the character always looks like one because of another shot in the spotlight. And lately, fans have been thinking that Reynolds’s role can replace him Justice League by Zack Snyder.

After all, that much-discussed directorial cut will come on HBO Max in 2021. And the streaming service has a Green Lantern series in development. So maybe DC will use Snyder’s movie to launch something next. Reynolds even jokingly released his own cut of Green Lantern on social media, appearing appearances of Tom Cruise and the Justice League.

The ‘Green Lantern’ star and Dwayne Johnson are responding to rumors

But the Green Lantern rumor is not the only DCEU plaguing Reynolds these days. Certain corners of the Internet believe that he is set to participate in the coming Black Adam film. The film will star Dwayne Johnson, with whom Reynolds briefly shared the screen Hobbs & Shaw. While it is rumored, Reynolds is considered to play Hawkman.

Never one who rejects the opportunity to have fun at the ever-spreading rumor mill of the internet, Reynolds also pointed this out. To do Twitter, he denies all truth to him who plays Hawkman and sarcastically calls the Justice League I shouted. For his part, Johnson played the role of doubting Internet fans, playfully claiming that Reynolds is indeed all superheroes.

But is Reynolds really to be thanked for a big-screen DC return?

The two men clearly had a ton of fun toys with the rumors about Reynolds’ return to DC. And until any official announcement is made, all reports in this regard should be considered rumored. However, it is not conceivable that Warner Bros. with Reynolds able to return to the fold. Maybe the time has come for DC and Reynolds to make changes.

DC is known for establishing long-term relationships with actors in both live action and animation. In addition, the company could seek to take advantage of the longer than expected development time for the introduction of Deadpool into the MCU. At this rate, Reynolds could debut as a new DC hero before fans get more of the Merc with the Mouth.
