The jersey that Ryan Fitzpatrick wears doesn’t matter when he plays the Jacksonville Jaguar. Choose half a dozen different team uniforms. It all leads to one result: victory.
Fitzpatrick became the first player in the NFL since at least 1950 on Thursday night to record at least one victory for six different teams against the same opponent, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. It’s an achievement that only a Fitzpack trick can achieve. After the TIA led the Miami Dolphins to a 31-13 victory in the banking sector, the well-traveled quarterback now has the Jaguars as a member of the Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans and New York Jets.
Fitzpatrick then celebrated by donating a paisley shirt that he had largely left unattended, uncovering a thorn in his chest that almost matched his beard. One night later, in which he completed 12 consecutive passes at one point, including one of his own, he was clearly enjoying himself.

Fitzpatrick, 37, entered the NFL in 2005 as a backup for the St. Louis Ramps. He has played for eight NFL franchises – a quarter of the league – and has been with the Jaguars at almost every stop.
He made his debut against the Jaguars in 2008, beating them 21-19 as a member of the Bengals. Thus began an Odyssey that would take him through Buffalo, leading him to a 34-18 victory over the Jaguars in 2012. The Titans welcomed Fitzpatrick in 2013 and are 20-16 in Week 16 of the season. He led the Texans to a 27-13 victory in 2014 and as a member of the Jets in 2015, he won 28-23.
All that practice against the Jaguars paid off on Thursday night. Fitzpatrick made history on several levels, completing his first 12 passes of the game – the highest total to start a game in his career. Fitzpatrick completed 21 completions in two consecutive games when he ended up losing the Dolphins Week 2 by combining nine consecutive passes.
Overall, Fitzpick Rick completed 18 of 20 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He ran for a third score on a quarterback draw in the third quarter.
