Things are looking up in the film industry as “Unhinged” debuted on Friday after a relatively promising start given many theaters across the country are still closed amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Starring Russell Crowe, “Unhinged” opened in 1,823 theaters in North America, making it the largest theatrical release since the first theatrical release, according to Variety.
The outlet reports that “Unhinged” had $ 4 million in its luggage during the opening weekend, which would not be impressive at the usual times, but seeing the few of America’s theaters open, it’s a number to be proud of to be on.
