What looks like a demo station for PlayStation 5 has been seen in a UK store. The store in question appears to be a branch of Currys PC Word (as far as we can tell), and the image is from @IronCoreGame on Twitter.
The next generation console itself is not yet on display, but everything is clearly in place. The booth shares the same white, blue, and black color scheme as the PS5, and there are two control bases. In other words, buyers may not have to wait long until they can get DualSense.
It’s a potentially exciting find, because it suggests that Sony’s plans are moving forward. The PS5 is still slated to launch the 2020 vacation, so we’re reaching a point where the company will want to start promoting the system in public spaces.
Of course, this also means that preorders could open soon. Sony recently stated that it won’t be opening preorders without warning, so if this is really happening you can expect some sort of announcement to be made first. Naturally, we will be here to report any breaking news.
