Ten Earth-observation satellites will have to wait at least another day to land.
Rocket Lab Today (October 21) plans its “In Focus” mission to lift a domestic liftoff, which will lift nine “superdow” cubesets for the San Francisco-based company Planet and a microsatellite built by Japan’s Canon Electronics Inc.
“We’re down from today’s effort. Some sensors are returning data that we want to investigate further. We have backup opportunities until Nov. 3. Stay tuned for updates on the new launch date! #Infox,” Rocket Lab Said via Twitter This afternoon.
“In Focus” will launch at the top of the electron booster from Rocket Lab’s New Zealand site. The company also has a new pad set on Virginia’s Oppos Island, which is scheduled Host its first liftoff next month.
