A young Marvel fan proved to be a real life hero
Young Bridger Walker made the news recently when he suffered serious injuries while protecting his little sister from a dog attack. After the incident, his aunt turned to social media to reach out to some of Walker’s favorite MCU stars for support.
Several celebrities have personally contacted Walker, sending messages of pride, love, and support. One of those sentiments came from Evans, who sent a video to Walker. The Captain America star even promised to send the boy a “real” shield like the one he used in the movies.

Of course, Evans was not the only MCU star who stepped forward. In fact, Downey himself soon followed Evans’ video message with one of his own. And the actor did not disappoint, offering his support in a way that feels faithful not only to his own personality but also to his MCU character.

As co-leaders of the Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America always had a bit of a rivalry. So it’s remarkable that Downey tapped Tony Stark in his support of Walker, promising to get over Evans’s message. Off-screen, of course, Downey only has good things to say about his co-star.

As Walker’s story continues to go viral, the young hero will likely count on listening to other Marvel heroes. Certainly, their actions serve as a sweet reminder that heroes present themselves in all their forms. And the outpouring of love from Hollywood’s biggest superheroes is certainly a testament to that.
