RIGHT OF TAILGATING AT SEMINOLE HOME FOOTBALLGAMES

Tallahassee, Fla. –Seminole Boosters and the Florida State Athletics Department today issued guidelines to allow Seminole Booster donors to attend Seminole home football games in 2020.

“We are delighted to be able to offer tailgating for our fans for the 2020 home football season, and we realize that it is an important part of the game day experience for many ticket holders,” said FSU Director of Athletics David Coburn.

To promote a safe environment, FSU has adopted the following:

  • All parking lots will open three hours before the opening this season.
  • Patterns will be limited to individual tailgates on their own spaces.
  • All attendees are asked to maintain the six-foot social distance between individuals outside family / friends and between areas with back air.
  • All patrons are encouraged to wear masks as they travel through parking lots and as a socialite.

‘Just as it is with so many things in our society during this pandemic, we ask that our donors take responsibility for following the tailgating measures, and make good decisions for the safety of our community so that we can continue with a safe football season, ”said Coburn. ‘If we as a Seminole family can not create a tailgating environment that protects each other’s health and safety, it may be necessary to reconsider this approach. ”

Seminole Booster members who are eligible for parking will receive their print-at-home pass via email the week of the season opener against Georgia Tech. General parking (scramble) parking will be issued to all eligible donors ($ 330 and above) to make only the games for which they select cards. Parking (reserved and general admission) for Gold, Platinum and Legacy Chiefs will be issued for all home games.
