Devolver Direct, the annual showcase for independent publisher Devolver Digital, will air on July 11 at 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. East / 8 p.m. UK (i.e. July 12 at 5 a.m. EST). The prerecorded show will air live on Twitch and Steam, promising: “New revealed games, revealed games, release date announcements, and special industry guests to help usher in these important marketing points.”The press release makes it clear that the program will consist of “almost the entire game because that is what young people today demand.”
The show will end with “some surprises”, and game demos will be available to play right away, including Carrion, Disc Room and an unannounced title.
Devolver’s annual showcases have become legendary weird, rude and interconnected – it’ll be worth checking out just to see what can happen to synergy officer Nina Struthers this year.
