NFL teams are always strict about not allowing unauthorized visitors into training camp, but this year especially so. When Kemah Siverand from Seattle found the hard way.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Seahawks cut Siverand after he was caught on video trying to snatch a female visitor inside the team hotel. The woman apparently wore Seahawks gear in an attempt to resemble a player who had access to the hotel.

NFL teams are under strict orders not to engage in any activity that could allow a COVID-19 outbreak. Players who break the rules are subject to discipline, and in Siverand’s case it was the ultimate discipline, causing him to lose his job.

Siverand played for both Texas A&M and Oklahoma State and spent time as a wide receiver and cornerback throughout his college career. He had hoped to make it to the NFL as a special team player, but those hopes may have passed for good.
