There is now a high probability, if not a possibility, that Philip Lindsay will depart the Denver Broncos from this se fasen.
According to Media reports, On Monday the Broncos placed the original-round tender – which is 13 2.133 million for 2021 – back on the banned free-agent.
This means that should Lindsay sign an offer fur sheet with an external suitor, the team will have the right to refuse first, but Denver will not receive a refund if the sheet does not match. (You may recall the Broncos almost lost to CJ Anderson in 2016 after the Dolphins chose not to tender at the second round.)
Compare this to the second round tender of 3 3.384 million, which, at best, made the Broncos opt for a second round draft or, worse, ensure Lindsay’s return next season.

A two-time 1,000-yard back and pre-pro bowler, Lindsay led an injured and statistically disappointing campaign in the 2020 campaign in which the Colorado product collected a touchdown in just 502 ground yards and 118 attempts (eight games). He added seven receptions for 28 yards, missed a pass catch catching duties to P ve Melvin Gordon, who led the Broncos with 1,144 yards and had 10 runs (nine runs).
But Lindsay became increasingly unhappy with the organization because of her standing – or lack thereof, spreading her displeasure in public on a number of occasions. Probably the text on the wall, he hinted at a Denver divorce during a March 10 interview on SiriusXM NFL radio.
“What can I do? What can I show?” Lindsay was asked if she wanted to.
Assuming Lindsay is indeed gonor, the Broncos will move on to a position with Gordon, who faces possible league discipline over his drunken-driving arrest last October. (Gordon was cleared of DUI charges.)
Rice Freeman is also on the team until 2021, although it is now possible that the Broncos will address the situation in next month’s draft.
Lindsay’s contract runs new Broncos general manager George Payton, who re-signed defensive end Shelby Harris, signed cornerback Ronald Darby, turned down the option of safety Karim Jackson, and gave second-round RF linebacker Alexander Jenner. Huge receiver Tim Patrick.
