Report: Jaguars have rejected multiple offers for Yannick Ngakoue

It is obvious that the Jaguars will not give defense Yannick Ngakoue a long-term deal before today’s deadline. Will they give in to your business lawsuit?

A report early Wednesday indicated Ngakoue is willing to play elsewhere in the one-year, $ 17.8 million franchise.

The obvious problem with that is that a team willing to trade for Ngakoue is going to give less for a year of rent.

According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, the Jaguars have received multiple offers for Ngakoue, “including one involving a Pro Bowl player who doesn’t conform to his system.” However, the Jaguars haven’t received an offer with enough value, at least in their minds, for Ngakoue.

So the Jaguars are in no rush to strike a deal, adds Pelssero.

Last year, the Seahawks traded for Texans tag holder Jadeveon Clowney before the season, costing them Jacob Martin, Barkevious Mingo and a third-round pick.
