The unearthed remains of a shallow grave in West Virginia are believed to belong to a missing 14-year-old boy destined for high school in Connecticut.
Jonathan “Johnny” Adams did not have a cell phone or other electronic device with him when he went missing July 12 in Augusta, West Virginia, authorities said.
Her body was found in Augusta on Saturday morning, they said.
“The remains were located in a heavily wooded area near the location where the victim was reported missing on Sunday morning,” the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office said without saying how he died. “The recovery area was extremely difficult to access due to the undergrowth.”
