Reggie Warren – One of the original five members of the R&B group troop – has died … TMZ has learned.
A representative of the group tells us that Reggie died Sunday at his home in San Bernardino County, surrounded by his family. We have been told he has been dealing with health issues for some time now, and was also hospitalized a few months ago in January.
The representative says Reggie was released from the hospital on Saturday with the expectation that he would die. We are told that his death is not related to Kavid – but the family does not want to discuss any official cause until the autopsy is performed.

It started with a trope when Reggie first made friends with childhood friends in the 80’s. Road to Banford, John Herald, Steve Russell And Alan McNeil. Russell paid tribute to his longtime colleague in an IG post on Sunday, writing … “Job my brother did well, I can see you on the other side – RIP Reggie Warren. #DemonRegie.”
Punch signed Atlantic Records and released his debut album in ’88, which saw a successful film in his lead single ‘Mamasita’. He is best known for his 2nd album, Attitude, which saved two # 1s in songs such as “All I Do Is Think You F You” and “Spread My Wings”.
In addition to their musical success, the troupe – which stands for the full respect of others – will also be remembered as the Capella group, the cover of “Living for the City” in the cult classic “New Jack City”. They all appear briefly during a montage.

The group moved on in the late 90’s, but toured back in the 2000s and beyond … appeared in concert with notable acts such as Boys II Man, Keith sweats, John b, Brian McKaneite And other artists and groups that were popular in those days.
The spreads seem to have been on good terms in the 2010s, as they have always appeared together at various public events at the BET Awards and beyond.
Reggie was 52.
