Indianapolis – reg Reagan State is trying to win its third NCAA Tournament game this season for only the third time in school history when the 12th-ranked Beavers face off against 8th-ranked Loyola of Chicago in the Midwest Region Suite 16 game at 11:40 a.m. Saturday. The Beavers won three NCAA Tournament games in 1963 and 1982. This is OSU’s first Sweet 16 appearance since 1982, when Beavers won to reach the Western Regional Final.

2nd Half, 7:47: Oregon State 45, Loyola Chicago 37
– Suddenly, these teams are showing some offense. Loyola’s Lucas Williamson cut three to cut Oregon State’s lead to 43-37. But Ethan Thompson responds with the layout, and the Beavers lead 45-37 with 7:47.

– It’s been a defensive battle so far, with Oregon State leading Loyola Chicago 24-16 at halftime. The Ramblers jumped to a 9–3 lead, but then the Beavers used a 7-0 lead.
Reg kept the Reagan State Ramblers scoreless for the final 5:48 of the half, turning the 16-13 deficit into an eight-point beaver lead at break.
