Read The Sunday: ‘Many Lives of Steven Yen’

Jay Caspian Kang, author and storyteller of this week’s Sunday Reed, spoke with actor Steven Yen on Zoom late last year. The basis of their conversation was Mr. Yoon’s recent role in “Minari” – a film about a Korean immigrant family farming in the rural south.

They discussed commonalities: Mr. Yoon’s childhood, his parents, and his acting career – including seven years of the hugely popular television series “The Walking King Dead.” But the topic of conversation is turning to something more ernda.

Today on The Sunday Read, focus on Jay’s profile and Asian-American identity.
