Raw Women’s Title and United States Championship embroiled in controversy after The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules

The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules left us with more questions than answers about the Raw Women’s Championship and the United States Title. Sasha Banks is the new Raw Women’s Champion? Can the same be said for MVP and the United States Championship? And what will Asuka and Apollo Crews say about the titles that are no longer in their possession?

Sasha Banks left with the Raw Women’s Title after a whirlwind sequence. Asuka’s green mist, destined for The Boss, found referee Eddie Orengo. With Orengo blinded, Bayley, who retained the SmackDown women’s title earlier in the night thanks to Banks’ help, ripped the shirt off Orengo’s back and pulled it on to tell of her teammate’s crash at Asuka.

“The Golden Role Models” escaped with all four titles in a hurry, and they didn’t bother staying long after.

After Apollo Crews was deemed unable to compete, MVP claims that he is now the deserved Champion of the United States. See WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India, and more.

Earlier in the evening, Apollo Crews was not medically cleared to defend the United States Championship against MVP due to a bulky puck as a result of a previous attack by Bobby Lashley. MVP was crowned the new champion of the United States with crews not present to protest.
